Tenant Representation Specialist Joins the Company’s Brooklyn Leasing Team

Brooklyn, NY – April 27, 2017 – Rico T. Murtha has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a director. He will work with Senior Directors Patrick Dugan and Joseph Cirone and will focus on tenant representation as a member of the firm’s leasing team serving the Brooklyn market.

Mr. Murtha previously served as a partner with Capstone Realty Advisors, a New York-based commercial brokerage company providing tenant representation services to small and mid-size firms.

“Rico Murtha brings extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate inventory throughout New York City,” said Betty Castro, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing principal of Brooklyn and Queens. “He knows how to identify those particular buildings and owners that will make the best match for a client. Rico Murtha’s tenant representation work has included office relocations, lease renewals, expansions, subleasing, lease auditing, and general advisory services. His client base has represented such sectors as public- and private-sector users, technology companies, medical practices, non-profit organizations, advertisers, and architecture firms.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in political philosophy from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
