Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Long-Term Lease for Sunglass Hut Flagship Store at 590 Fifth Avenue

New York, NY – July 9, 2019 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged a 4,400-square-foot lease for Luxottica brand, Sunglass Hut, at 590 Fifth Avenue. A market leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of eyewear, Luxottica will occupy a portion of the ground floor and lower level of the building. The space will serve as the brand’s new Fifth Avenue flagship store.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Joanne Podell and Mary Clayton represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, Thor Equities, was represented in-house by Sam Polese and Jack Sitt.

The property is within walking distance of iconic locations including Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York Public Library, Saks Fifth Avenue and Central Park. Seven subway lines provide access to the location within close proximity.
