NEW YORK, February 20, 2019 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Rachel Casanova has joined the firm as Senior Managing Director, Workplace Innovation for the Tri State Region. She will be based at the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office. In this role, Ms. Casanova will focus on workplace experience and innovation and partner with our strategic consulting practice on client initiatives to provide a holistic approach to workplace solutions.

Ms. Casanova brings her consulting practice to Cushman & Wakefield with 25 years of professional experience at the intersection of organizational culture and team effectiveness. Before joining the firm, Ms. Casanova founded Balansett LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to delivering a well-rounded workplace experience. Her clientele included legal firms, professional services, technology companies, not-for-profits and architectural firms. Prior to this, Ms. Casanova served as Managing Director, Connected Spaces at R/GA, where she launched an employee experience practice centered on the agency’s expertise in digital, space and organizational design. She has also held senior-level roles at architecture firms Perkins + Will and Mancini Duffy and at Herman Miller, a global furniture manufacturer.
Ms. Casanova regularly speaks at industry conferences such as WorkTech, Realcomm, NeoCon and the CoreNet Global Summit. She is a graduate of Cornell University, and serves as the 2018 Co-President of the Human Ecology Alumni Association Board.
