Cushman & Wakefield Sells Five Building Portfolio in the South Bronx

NEW YORK, February, 28, 2017 – The Crotona Park South Portfolio sold in an all cash transaction for $10,050,000. Four of the five buildings are located on the south side of Crotona Park, and one is on the highly touted Alexander Avenue in Mott Haven.

The portfolio contains 68 residential and three commercial units over approximately 28,865 square feet. The sale price equates to approximately $150 per square foot and $148,000 per unit.

“The Bronx remains extremely desirable for multifamily investors who are attracted to the area’s continued growth” said Cushman and Wakefield’s Robert M. Shapiro who exclusively represented the seller of the portfolio along with colleague David Simone. The buyer was Gary Kassirer of Emerald Equity Group.
